its time for updates!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so long never update.

we're all fines lads. all cheering up from the down syndrome that we're having before. azi and irfan having a stomachache from laughing so much while watching jackass 2, hadi having his heart sank because his computer crash and all his porno vids and pics were gone, ilyas having his pantat so red from the lack of jamming (read bio and you'll noe that he needs to move), and not to forget matrock having to break up with his old motorbike (he dumped her) and replaces it with a beautiful and pretty scrambler but he still misses the old honda.

we've been going out together, eating at ramen 10, hanging out together at esplanade. and all those times, we never took a picture of us together. sigh, we're broke mahh, no money to hire a professional photographer. i hope we'll take photo of us soon in the future. yeps. hope hope.

onto the originals. even though we've been out of the scene for sooooooooo loooooooooong, its not like we're totally giving up on performing. we've been producing new riffs everyday. you guys wont have any idea what does it sound like. it will be one so heavenly yet helly.

As many of you have gathered, yes, Hanif our amazing drummer has left S4X.

We are very very sad for this loss. We will really miss him around, really miss his drumming and ciggy sessions and motorbike.. Haiz.

We wish Hanif all the best and gd luck in everything.

But don't worry, S4X will still continue w/o Hanif, because that is what he wants. So yeah, S4X will be inactive until a new drummer can be found.

Hello hello brothers and sisters, we're back from the long queue at the Swee Lee sale yesterday, and god, it was so fucking long and tiring! Anyway, the tapestry briefing we attended yesterday too, and I believe our timing is on at 1.30pm at Far East Plaza, 22nd July, a Saturday. Loads of our friends will be performing in Tapestry 06 too on the 22nd and 23rd. I would have uploaded the programme lineup, but I lazy ah. XD

the tapes auditions!

The tapestry auditions were pretty cool bebs, although a number of unfortunate incidents happened!

First we got lost; the guy gave directions that were supposed to be used at Raffles Place station, but he did'nt even asked where we were (clarke quay station!). So we toured chinatown a couple of rounds asking people where the fucking white lion statue was, until the guy said go to raffles place mrt station.

Then when we eventually got there, we played our cover of FFAF's Juno, pretty tight i must say. Oh yeah, with the immersion of our new bassist, it was even more tight! Macam pantat crocodile!

Then biler nak balik, bassist rushing towards the mrt doors, then BAM!! Langgar. Naseb baek tak concussion. Serious ah, brutal giler the crash was. Then die rilek then follow us go aljunied swee lee to ogle at guitars.

Yeah, today was a gd day. We dont give a fuck if we didn't get a Tapestry slot; I personally think today's performance was quite tight, and we did have fun playing Juno.
And that is all we want. To have fun as playing music, the reason why we formed in the first place.

Yesterday emolition gig was awesome.the organizers are fun to be with,joke with and wank with.we appreciate what they have done during the gig,they undergo alot of trouble during the speaker problem.
we get to eat french fries which was given to me by the organizers and eat the bread which hanif was eating.
overall we enjoy ourself,and the gig rocks

Emolition was alright, it wasn't bad, but it wasn't as good as we expected.

the Dec 7th gig

Ok ok, I didn't update you all on S4X's gig last wednesday. Here it is.

IT WAS FUCKING FUCKING FUCKING FUCKING AWESOME.

Synonyms For Execration was up. At first i was dead nervous, going out from backstage and on to the stage. I just plug in my bass lah, and turn my back to them so they wont see my red face.Wah, then the whole band were mostly ready setting up.

The crowd still haven't stood up. So i tell them "OI, stand up stand up" so they stand up lah, wakaka.

Then when we told them we're going to play Trivium's "Pull harder on the strings of your martyr", people everywhere came in front! The people from backstage came to see us, more of the people sitting down also came up to us. It was fucking crazy! We just headbang along, and the crowd all mosh their fucks out, then they all sing along, especially the part where we sing "PULL! HARDER! STRINGS! MARTYR!" Haha... Awesome shit!!

After we finished, Hadi said "So uh.. we going to play a song by As I lay Dying" The crowd all shout "Yeaahhh!!!" When we said "its called, 94 hours" the crowd shouted YEAAHHH even louder.

So Hanif started off the drum intro, then the crowd mosh, really really mosh hard, macam gila babi! This time, the audience want to sing all of the lyrics so they took Azi's and Hadi's microphone and sang along, one even got to his knees and cry so emotionally like he going to shit like that. The gig host, who had the wireless microphone in his pocket also whipped it out and screamo along! The body guard who was supposed to prevent the crowd from moshing too much also just join the moshing sia! Haha!! Azizi was carried up by the crowd while still playing, so we cock up the song a little bit, even me, cos' I was screamo-ing so hard i forgot the tabs for 94 hours. Wakakaka!!

When we finished I asked the organizers, how many song we have left. Then one guy who really liked our performance said "Lima lagu lagi!!" with a really desperate face! Ahaha! But really, we were left with only one song, the organizers said, cos' time was short. We actually wanted to play Funeral for a Friend's 'Juno' also, but since left with one song, we chose to play A7X's 'Chapter 4'. The crowd shouted happily even louder!

So we played the damn song, now Hadi got bodysurfed. We played on... we didn't noticed how time quickly passed by.. Time really flies when you're enjoying yourself. I remember that I was so high I was shaking my butt to the Chapter 4 riff. Haha!

Aiyah, then it was over too soon. Although we finished chapter 4, the crowd was still moshing and dancing haha... they could'nt get enough of our performance...

When we were backstage and outside, loads of people shookour hands and pat our backs.. saying our band was 'the most hardcore ever'.. haha.. yeah man. To think of it, yeah, it was true. During the whole course of the gig, it was only during S4X's performance that the crowd went out of control. Other bands performance at least has a boundary that separates the band and the crowd. Our band, sialah, there was no boundary at all! The crowd even mosh in front of the drumset, pulled our hands, mess with our microphone and all..

Fuck man, it was so awesome.. pity we only played 3 songs...

New idea

Ok, I got inspiration to write a new song...
It was on the news yesterday.

There's this poverty-stricken family... 8 children, father and mother. The father just got retrenched, and the 8 children never had any education since young, so they sell kueh at Yishun Interchange to support their family. This one woman who always buy kueh ask them why they never go to school... they reply that their parent don't have money to pay for it.

So the woman follow them home and advice the mother to send them to an organisation called Pertapis... because they have service of childcare and education. The saddest thing was that after a few weeks the mother pull them out because they always get bullied there by other people; might as well let them stay at home. Quite ironic actually, you send people to help centres, but actually make things worse...

Yeah, so thats the whole story. I really want to write this song, really shows that not all are as lucky and perfect as we are, and we should be thankful we never go through all this. Also maybe because I myself experience getting bullied excessively last time. Maybe it'll be a slow tempo yet fast song, a bit like A7X's MIA or maybe like Nirvana's Pennyroyal Tea.
The song will, ironically be called, "I'm so happy"

hello all of you earthlings out there. hmm... okayy, i've just finished my examinations.. wish me luck yah so i can go up to the next level next year.. okayy.. i've been quite busy wif my studies lately but now.. YEAH! exams are over. so now i can concentrate on band. hmm... i played the guitar over and over again just now.. and now.. yeah, i guess its time we composed our own songs.. originals are coming really soon. i've done alot of jeng jeng at home and i've come up wif alotta riffs...hmm..i dunnoe if it is nice or not..all it need is some roti prata and thosai...mMm, yummieh... it will have the crisp of the thosai skin and the soft texture of the roti prata...yummiehh..*drools...

... hmm... I CANT WAIT FOR OUR NEXT JAMMING SESSION!!! my fingers are itching to tap tap on the strings of the guitar (well i have an electric guitar at home, but tapping alone is no fun at all.) ... my heart needs to scream out pretty nothings...

* Me and Revenge for this few weeks can't get musically involved with S4X... since we 2 got exams! Haha, cannot rilekcore, this one promotional exam. I can slack after next week, cos my major subjects would be done by then... but I dunnoe about Revenge punye exam. Then after that can continue jam ke-jengjeng, yay~

*We need more band pictures! Take some more pictures... as long as mamakcore. We all decide someday when we can photoshoot ah. Hehheh. Maybe during hari raye or what, take picture.

*We each practice a few covers together again at TreeHaus park someday I guess... slow songs, macam MCR 'Demolition Lovers' or FFAF 'History' or maybe an indie song... ask me if you want to cover indie song... I got a lot in my comp.
